Discover Hamburg on two wheels: since 2009, we have been showing our guests the city on relaxed guided bike tours. Our tours start in central St. Pauli and, depending on the route, take you to the harbour and Speicherstadt, along the Elbe and Alster, or through Hamburg’s fascinating neighbourhoods.

Our public bike tours: departure times during the season
Hamburg Compact: German daily at 10:30. English Monday to Saturday at 14:30, Sunday at 10:30. Dutch on selected dates shown in the booking calendar.
Hamburger Gegensätze: Saturday at 14:30, in German.
Private bike tours: Dates and start times arranged individually for your own group.
Season: 14 March–8 November 2026 · 13 March–7 November 2027.
Hamburg Compact in winter: English Monday and Friday at 10:30; German and English on Saturday at 10:30.

Visiting Hamburg for the first time? Our Hamburg Compact bike tour gives you a great overview of the city. If you already know Hamburg or want to discover a different side, you can explore the Elbe waterfront, different neighbourhoods or one of our other themed routes. Bike, meeting point and duration
Our tours start at Hamburg City Cycles in St. Pauli. A bike is included in our guided tours. Helmets and baskets are also available if you need them. Most tours last around 3 to 3.5 hours and are designed so you can enjoy discovering Hamburg at a relaxed pace.
