Discover Hamburg’s highlights on a guided bike tour
Our Hamburg Compact tour gives you a relaxed introduction to many of the city’s most famous sights. We cycle to the Alster, Hamburg City Hall and St. Michael’s Church, through the historic Speicherstadt and modern HafenCity, and of course to the Landungsbrücken and through St. Pauli. It’s an ideal tour if you’re visiting Hamburg for the first time and want to discover the city by bike.
We start at our shop in the heart of St. Pauli, just a few minutes from the Reeperbahn. From there, we head to the Landungsbrücken with views across Hamburg’s harbour. We then continue to St. Michael’s Church, the Alster, City Hall and Jungfernstieg before cycling through the Speicherstadt and HafenCity.
Along the way, our guides share stories about Hamburg, its history and everyday life in the city, as well as personal tips for the rest of your stay. In around 3.5 hours, you’ll get a great overview of Hamburg and its many different sides.

Hamburg Compact: start times during the season

English: Monday to Saturday at 2:30 pm, Sunday at 10:30 am.

Winter: English on Mondays and Fridays at 10:30 am; German and English on Saturdays at 10:30 am.

All participants must be able to ride a bike safely.
We ride on cycle paths and quiet side streets, but we are still part of road traffic. For short distances, it is also possible to ride on the road. -
Our standard bikes are suitable for people approx. 1.50 m tall and above.
If you require smaller bikes, please reply to the confirmation email with your height. We will then reserve a suitable bike for you. -
- We also ride in the rain. Depending on availability, we offer free ponchos for the tour.

Customers will receive a full refund for cancellations up to 24 hours before the start of the public tour and rental. Cancellations less than 24 hours before the public tour and rental will not be refunded unless the Flex option has been booked. Then this period is 30 minutes.
For private tours of up to 20 people, the cancellation deadline is 72 hours (3 days) before the start of the tour; for groups of more than 20 people, the deadline is 7 days before the start of the tour. A change in the number of persons by max. 10% is possible up to 24 hours before the start of the tour. No refunds will be given for short-term cancelations.
